St. Louis Rams Re-Sign Backup QB Kellen Clemens
Published at(ST. LOUIS) — The St. Louis Rams re-signed backup quarterback Kellen Clemens on Thursday, a week after the team cut him. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The Rams let the 29-year-old Clemens go before the season opener against the Detroit Lions last week. To make room for him on the roster, the Rams released defensive tackle Darrell Scott.
In three starts last season for St. Louis, Clemens tossed for 546 yards and two touchdowns.
