Kirstie Alley says she was initially excited about the concept, until she learned more about it.

She jokes, “First I was like, Hey!  Yeah!  I can two-step.  I can line dance.  And then it’s like, uh, no, this isn’t a freestyle, you need to do a dance to a country song, and I was like all right.”

Sabrina Bryan and her partner, Louis Van Amstel, have something planned that will make her happy.

She tells ABC News Radio, “I love our song, it’s one of my favorite songs right now, it hits home, it’s got a great story and I can’t wait to make him do something else.”

Karina Smirnoff, the pro partner of Apolo Anton Ohno, says their Viennese waltz will be inspired by family members they’ve lost to cancer.

She says, “I wanna do it not only for us but also for, for my grandmother who passed away, for Apolo’s grandfather who passed away, it’s gonna be one of those dances where I probably will be crying.”

Dancing with the Stars begins at 8 p.m. Eastern time.
