In Preview of Oprah Interview, Justin Bieber Talks About Dating Selena Gomez

Kevin Mazur/WireImage via ABC(NEW YORK) — In his upcoming appearance on Oprah’s Next Chapter, Justin Bieber tells Oprah Winfrey about his high-profile romance with girlfriend Selena Gomez, his music and his life in the spotlight. In a preview of the interview shown Thursday on ABC’s Good Morning America, Justin says he does what’s needed to have a relationship with Selena, even when the logistics of dating get tricky.
“Sometimes we gotta take the back exits and do different things,” explains Justin in the preview. Regardless of the efforts required, says Justin, “I never make [Selena] separate from me ’cause… I don’t want her to ever feel like I’m ashamed of her.”
Justin explains that comment by saying, “I feel like a lot of guys do that, you know, especially in the business. [They] don’t want to be seen with their girl so they’ll make them ride in separate cars and do all that ‘getaway’ stuff. If we get away, we’re, you know, getting away together.”
While Oprah’s done a slew of interviews, she says chatting with The Bieb was beyond major. “It’s the biggest thing I’ve done since Michael Jackson in 1993,” Oprah told the hosts of Good Morning America on Thursday.
