ABC/RANDY HOLMES(NEW YORK) — ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! will still tape this week’s planned shows at the Brooklyn Academy, despite Hurricane Sandy.  A rep for the show tells Entertainment Weekly that back-up generators will be available to the production team.

The rep further indicated that the staff would be flown in from Los Angeles in time to beat the storm.

Scheduled guests include David Letterman, Chris Rock, Alicia Keys, Tracy Morgan, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert and the Avett Brothers.

Brooklyn-born Jimmy Kimmel has already filmed some segments of the shows in advance.  He’ll be at the Brooklyn Academy all week.
