Mario Williams has Procedure on His Left Wrist
Published at | Updated at(ORCHARD PARK, N.Y.) — Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams had a procedure on his left wrist to help relieve the pain he has been feeling there since the beginning of the season.
“The update on Mario is he had a procedure done to relieve some discomfort in his wrist and we expect him back for practice this week,” said head coach Chan Gailey. “That’s all I know at this point.”
Williams, who signed a six-year, $100 million contract with the team during the offseason, is not expected to miss any games.
The Bills (3-4) have their bye week this week, and will play Williams former team, the Houston Texans, on Nov. 4.
Williams has 16 tackles and 3 1/2 sacks for the season.
