(INKOM, ID)  —  An Inkom woman convicted of defrauding Medicaid of nearly $40,000 has been placed on probation. The Idaho State Journal reports that Terry L. Leissring was charged a year ago with 13 felonies counts of fraud and grand theft. Despite a recommendation from the Idaho Attorney General’s Office that Leissring remain incarcerated, Sixth District Judge Robert Naftz placed Leissring on 14 years of probation, citing her willingness to change and pay back the funds she wrongfully obtained through her health care services business.
