Mrs. Obama introduced the clip by saying she had a “good plan” to make sure Kimmel doesn’t forget to vote.

In the sketch, Kimmel is seen sleeping in a bedroom when the first lady barges in with a horn and a megaphone, yelling, “Election Day!  Election Day!  Up and at ’em!  Move it!” As Kimmel wakes up and exits the room, she adds, “And eat some carrots!”

Parts of the interview centered around her two kids with President Obama, 14-year-old Malia and 11-year-old Sasha.  She said both of them trick or treat every year on Halloween, though her older daughter doesn’t get dressed up much anymore.

Thursday’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live! marked Mrs. Obama’s first-ever appearance on the late-night program.
