Stanley Chou/Getty Images(KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia) — Nick Watney won the CIMB Classic in Malaysia on Sunday, shooting a 61 in the final round to win the event by one stroke over Robert Garrigus and Bo Van Pelt.

The 31-year-old Watney tied for the lead on the 13th hole with a birdie. He would proceed to birdie three of the final five holes to win the $1.3 million prize.

“The difference between the first round and the last three was definitely putting,” Watney said of his performance. “Today I putted as good as I have since the Barclays tournament in the States a while back.”

14-time Major champion Tiger Woods finished the event three shots back.
