Report: The Fonz Helping Erin Moran Have Happier Days

Michael Buckner/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — Henry Winkler has reportedly read the tabloid stories about his former Happy Days co-star Erin Moran — who is said to be in serious financial straits — and he’s apparently ready to give her a helping hand.
Quoting a National Enquirer report, the New York Post says Winkler was “absolutely shattered” by stories Moran has been living in cheap hotels, and the actor-producer is reportedly trying to get the actress work on Arrested Development, the acclaimed sitcom that has been recently resurrected by Netflix.
Recently, Scott Baio, who played Fonzie’s younger cousin and Moran’s love interest Chachi on Happy Days — and on the short-lived spin-off Joanie Loves Chachi — was asked if he’d consider helping out his former co-star. Fox News reported he was less receptive.
“I don’t know what her situation is,” Baio reportedly said. “I have a job to do, I have a wife and child to take care of. So I don’t pay attention to things that I don’t know anything about. I’ve got my own situation to deal with.”
Moran turns 52 on Thursday.
