(SHELLEY) – Voters in Shelley and Firth will decide the future of the North Bingham County Library District next month. Library officials  say that they no longer have the space to keep up with the growing population. They’d like to move to the old BMC West building on North State Street, but will need a $2.5 million bond to make it happen. Others say a new facility would be valuable for after-school programs and other community events. Authorities say the tax would increase an average of $13 a year for a home valued at $100,000. The measure requires a two-thirds majority to pass.
