(NEW YORK) — The New York Yankees have exercised their options on second baseman Robinson Cano and outfielder Curtis Granderson for next season.
Both players will be paid $15 million next season. If they don’t sign long-term deals with the team, they could become free agents.
The 30-year-old Cano hit .313, with 33 home runs and 93 RBIs last season.
Granderson, 31, hit .232, with 106 RBIs and tied for the second most home runs in baseball with 43 last season.
