Casey Anthony Movie Set to Air in January

Red Huber-Pool/Getty Images(NEW YORK) — The Lifetime movie, Prosecuting Casey Anthony, will air on Jan. 19, according to the New York Post.
The film is based on District Attorney Jeff Ashton’s book, Imperfect Justice, and is told mostly through the eyes of the attorneys involved in the trial.
Rob Lowe portrays Ashton, the prosecutor who lost the case. Oscar Nunez of The Office is cast as Anthony’s lawyer, Jose Baez. Actress Virginia Welch plays Casey Anthony, the young Florida mom who was acquitted of murder this past July in the 2008 death of her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee.
Lifetime says the Anthony character makes just a few brief appearances in the true-crime TV movie, which was filmed over the summer in Canada.
