Falcons safety William Moore had two of the five interceptions.

“We just knew that we could just come out and play well,” Moore said. “We knew we could get takeaways and we knew that if we could get up in these receivers’ faces we had a chance to dominate the football game. That’s what we did man. Five interceptions against one of the greatest quarterbacks to ever play the game…that’s an amazing feeling.”

The Falcons also put an end to one of the greatest streaks in football. Brees’ streak of 54 straight games with a touchdown pass was snapped.

Michael Turner rushed for 83 yards and a touchdown in the win.

The Saints fall to 5-7, while the Falcons improve to 11-1. If the Buccaneers lose to the Broncos on Sunday the Falcons will clinch the NFC South.
