Idaho State Police Respond to Domestic Violence Call on Interstate

POCATELLO – Police responded to what is being described as a domestic violence call on at the Interstate Sunday afternoon.
According to reports, the Idaho State Police responded to a report of a woman being attacked by two men on Interstate 86 just after 4 p.m. Sunday near the entrance of Massacre Rocks State Park.
Troopers initiated a high-risk traffic stop westbound on Interstate 86 near milepost 8 in Cassia County and detained two male subjects. Police said the female victim was not inside the suspect vehicle.
“Due to the nature of the crime and current weather and temperature conditions, the Power County Search and Rescue team responded to the area for assistance in locating the woman,” according to ISP. “A short time later, she was located in her Pocatello home with visible injuries.”
Names of the parties involved are not being released at this time as the investigation is continuing.
