LAL Brown Mike? Despite their struggles, team owner Jerry Buss still has confidence in head coach Mike Brown.

Brown has already come under fire for how the team has perormed, but Buss gave Brown a vote of confidence that he’d get the team to where many thought they’d be.

“I have no problems with Mike Brown at all,” Buss told ESPNLA.com. “He just works too hard and he’s too unknowledgeable for this to be happening.”

“So either the system is flawed or something’s going on,” Buss added. “Or, like the Triangle, it’s very hard to pick up and understand. I’m not a basketball mind like he is or the players are, and the players are fine with it, so I just have to be patient.”

The Lakers offseason was highlighted by the acquisitions of Steve Nash and Dwight Howard and were picked by many as a preseason favorite to challenge for an NBA title.
