Macmillan Dictionary Scraps Hard Copy for Digital
Published at | Updated at(LONDON) — In another sign of the times, England’s Macmillan Dictionary is exiting the print world.
Its dictionaries have been around in one shape or form since the 1800s. But now, Macmillan is throwing in the print towel. The company’s physical books will soon be a thing of the past. In fact, the final copies are rolling off the presses right now.
Macmillan says its future is online where new words and phrases can be added anytime.
