Man Killed After Fall From Loading Dock

MALAD -A 65-year-old Malad businessman died Monday in a work-related accident.
F. Dennis Thomas was operating a power lift when he fell five feet and landed on his back, striking his head. He was then partially struck by an Associated Foods truck that was backing up at the same time. Officials said the driver of that truck was unaware Thomas fell and did not see Thomas behind the truck.
Funeral services for Thomas will be held Nov. 16 in Malad.
