Princess Diana’s $2 Million Rolls Royce to be Auctioned
Published at(LONDON) — The Rolls Royce used to transport Prince Charles and Princess Diana during their first visit to the United States in 1985 is being auctioned off on eBay by the Volo Auto Museum in Illinois.
The museum states that the $2 million armor-plated car will go to the highest bidder, with a portion of the sale benefitting Children with Leukemia, a charity supported by the late Princess of Wales.
The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow was purchased in 1979, according to The Daily Mail, and is equipped with bulletproof windows, intercoms and protection against poisonous gas. The interior also features crimson leather seats and matching carpet.
