Led by running back Michael Turner and a stout defense, the Falcons stuffed the Dallas Cowboys 19-13 to improve to 8-0 this season.

Turner rushed for 120 yards and a touchdown on 20 carries.

Neither offense could do much of anything in the first half.  The game was tied at six heading into the locker room.

Quarterback Matt Ryan continued his winning ways at home, throwing for 342 yards and improving his career record to 30-4 at the Georgia Dome.

It was a career night for both Falcons receiver Roddy White and Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, becoming the all-time receptions leaders for their respective teams.  White had seven catches for 118 yards and passed Terrance Mathis for the most receptions in Falcons’ history.  Witten passed Cowboys legend Michael Irvin on the team all-time receptions list.  He now has 754 for his career.

The Cowboys fell to 3-5 with the loss.
