Caribou-Targhee Selling Island Park Ranger Station
Published at(ISLAND PARK) – The Caribou-Targhee National Forest is selling the Island Park ranger station.
The 4,500 square-foot office will be put on the market and sold to the highest bidder.
Authorities say the building became redundant after the forest merged its administrative offices in Ashton in 1996.
The building sits on two acres of land near Ponds Lodge.
Public comments on the sale are being accepted through Jan. 13.
