Tony Romo threw three touchdowns to become the Cowboy’s all-time TD leader and Dallas beat the Philadelphia Eagles 38-33 on Sunday night.

“We desperately had to have this win tonight, and our team fought like heck to get a win,” Romo said. He passed Troy Aikman for most touchdown passes in team history, and now has 167 career scores.

Perhaps the biggest play for the Cowboys (6-6) came on defense, when they forced a fumble from Eagles running back Bryce Brown, and cornerback Morris Claiborne took it 50 yards for a touchdown and an 11-point fourth quarter lead.

“Up until that fumble, he had done a heck of a job,” Eagles coach Andy Reid said of Brown. “He was trying to get every stinking yard he possibly could.”

The Eagles (3-9) lost their eighth straight game, but did have 183 rushing yards in the defeat.
