(IDAHO FALLS) – Sales in area gun shops have been rising steadily in recent months.
Local News 8 reports Ross’ Coin and Gun in Idaho Falls has seen long lines of people who have a fear of the unknown.
Nationally, gun sales have spiked in reaction to new gun control laws being proposed by the Obama administration in response to the school shooting in Newtown, Conn. last week.
The President has vowed to back legislation aimed at restoring an assault weapons ban put in place by the Clinton administration.
