(POCATELLO) – Icy road conditions Monday morning caused many accidents around the Pocatello area.

Bannock County reported 16 accidents between the hours of 8 and 9 a.m., two of which resulted in injuries.

One accident involved a school bus and vehicle colliding on Yellowstone and Alameda, where the vehicle caught on fire.

Several accidents in Blackfoot, American Falls and Bonneville County were also reported.

Drivers are urged to use caution, especially when black ice has been reported.
