INL Cutting Hundreds of Jobs

(IDAHO FALLS) – The Idaho National Laboratory could cut up to 450 jobs.

Battelle Energy Alliance has asked the federal government to implement a workforce restructuring plan. Officials say that cuts will not exceed 300 if the current plan is put into place, though it could easily exceed that if the fiscal cliff debate in Washington isn’t resolved soon.

Voluntary resignations can be made by Jan. 9. Involuntary terminations go into effect Feb. 7.
