Kidnapped Woman Told Not to Contact Police Right Away

(GLENDIVE, Mont.) – A kidnapped Idaho woman was told not to contact police right away when she was dropped off at a grocery store in eastern Montana Sunday.

Susan Smith, 62, of Rathdrum, was abducted by Mitchell Walk, 57, who was arrested Wednesday in North Dakota.

Walck allegedly fired a gun at an Idaho State Police officer during a recent traffic stop.

Walck is awaiting extradition back to Idaho.
