Lindsay Lohan Having Trouble Paying Her Rent

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic(LOS ANGELES) — Times are tough for Lindsay Lohan. TMZ.com reports that she is having difficulty paying the $8,000 monthly rent on her Beverly Hills, Calif., mansion.
Lohan reportedly signed the lease in February, when her career appeared to be on the upswing and her television movie Liz & Dick was in the works. However, more recently, the IRS seized her bank accounts due to unpaid taxes, and she has turned to her friends for money to help her make the rent each month.
Breaking the lease would be costly, so Lohan is holding out until the lease ends in February, and then she plans to move back to New York.
Meanwhile, furnishing the house wasn’t a problem for the actress. Lohan got the Bravo television show Million Dollar Decorators to spend nearly $200,000 to renovate the mansion, according to TMZ.com.
The actress initially cooperated with the show and she shot a furniture shopping segment in March. She also spent several other days shooting before the renovations.
Once the show renovated the house, Lohan reportedly backed out of filming the big reveal moment in April.
Sources tell TMZ that Lohan has been living there and the house has become a complete mess.
MDD producers decided to go with the only option they had left, which was to use pre-taped post-renovation footage without Lohan included in the big reveal moment. The episode is set to air early next year.
