Despite rumors that they are a couple, George and Lohan are not officially dating.

A source tells E!, “All they are doing is hanging out.”  The pair has reportedly even stopped following each other on Twitter.

In other Lohan news, the troubled actress may soon be heading to jail.  Law enforcement sources tell TMZ that when Lohan is arraigned on Wednesday for allegedly lying to police and reckless driving in connection with a car accident in Santa Monica, Calif., last June, the judge may revoke her probation from her conviction for stealing a necklace from a jewelry store in February 2011.

It’s not known if Lohan will be in court Wednesday.  She is not required to attend.  If the judge revokes her probation, a formal booking date will be scheduled.

And even if Lohan is found not guilty in the car accident case, the judge has the authority to rule she violated her probation because the standard of proving a violation is much lower than proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt, which is required in a criminal matter.

TMZ reports prosecutors have already filed paperwork asking the court to have Lohan’s probation revoked.
