McDonald’s McRib Returning Dec. 17

PR Newswire/McDonald’s(CHICAGO) — Fans of the popular McDonald’s McRib can stock up on their favorite seasonal sandwich in time for Christmas. The sandwich is set to return to McDonald’s nationwide on Monday, Dec. 17.
The McRib is a 500-calorie rib sandwich with barbecue sauce, pickles and onions. It hasn’t been available in the United States since last October.
Some restaurants in the chain have already put the cult favorite back on the menu.
McDonald’s is hoping McRib will help boost sales, which have been lagging behind competitors like Burger King.
In March, restaurants in Austria unveiled the McRibster, a jazzed-up version of the original.
