US Home Prices Up 4.3% in October

Creatas/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — The monthly Standard & Poor’s Case–Shiller index shows home prices up 4.3 percent in October over the same month last year.
The survey also shows prices up in 18 of 20 cities monitored.
The steepest increases were in Phoenix, where prices jumped almost 22 percent.
The only places where prices fell were New York and Chicago.
