Wade Suspended One Game by NBA

Miami Heat/NBA(NEW YORK) — Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade was suspended one game without pay by the NBA Thursday for his leg hitting the groin of Charlotte Bobcats guard Ramon Sessions.
The play happened in the fourth quarter of the Heat’s 105-92 victory over the Bobcats Wednesday.
Wade was dribbling the ball up the court when Sessions came up to guard him. Sessions proceeded to foul Wade and as that happened, Wade’s left leg flailed up into Sessions’ groin. Wade was not called for a foul.
Wade will serve the suspension Friday night, when the Heat head to Detroit to take on the Pistons.
