Arizona Cardinals Hire Bruce Arians As Head Coach

The Arizona Cardinals have hired Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Bruce Arians as their new head coach, replacing Ken Whisenhunt who was fired after six seasons with the team.
The team finished 5-11 for the second time in three seasons.
Arians received a four-year deal with a club option for a fifth year.
The 60-year-old Arians arrived in Arizona on Wednesday night for a Thursday interview. He was offered and accepted the job Thursday night.
Arians went 9-3 as interim head coach of the Colts when Chuck Pagano was undergoing treatment for leukemia this past season.
Arians will be introduced at a news conference on Friday.
