Madonna Opening New Hard Candy Fitness Gym in Rome

Stephen Lovekin/Getty Images(ROME) — Madonna is expanding her exercise empire: she’s opening a new branch of her Hard Candy Fitness gyms in Rome, Italy this year.
The 13,000-square-foot, three-story facility will be located in Rome’s historic center, and will include exercise studios; spaces for personal training, functional training and yoga; a cycling studio and amenities including an espresso bar. Hey, it is Italy, after all.
Madonna launched the Hard Candy Fitness brand in 2010. Currently, there are gyms in Moscow; Santiago, Chile; Sydney, Australia and Mexico City. There haven’t been any announcements regarding a North American outpost of the gym as of yet.
