And while that might sound like the makings of a dream come true, here’s some news that will bring fans back down to earth: Michelle Williams tells MTV flat-out that a reunion “seems quite impossible.”

Asked directly whether rumors about a Destiny’s Child performance is happening, Michelle says, “Unfortunately, I honestly can’t say.”  She adds that, “Just thinking about it gives me a headache.”  She explains that coordinating schedules for her, Bey and Kelly Rowland would present a serious obstacle.

Michelle, who will star in a production of the musical Fela!, tells MTV, “My opening night for Fela! is Jan. 29.  I’ve been in rehearsals for that, so I haven’t had time to think about learning anything else.  But who knows?  Maybe sometime in the future, five or 10 years from now, we’ll see.”

Nevertheless, fans will be keeping hope alive.  There is still some time to get things together before Beyonce’s Super Bowl halftime performance rolls around.  The big game will take place Feb. 3, in New Orleans.
