Quarterback Tajh Boyd Is Returning to Clemson

“For me it came down to my enjoyment here.” Boyd said when explaining why he chose not to go pro.” I love Clemson. I love college football. I feel like I had a good enough grade to go out and have an opportunity to compete (in the NFL), but at the same time…I’m just not ready to drop this right now.”

Boyd led the Tigers to a 21-6 record during his two years as a starter, including an 11-2 record this past season.

He also threw for 3,896 yards and 36 touchdowns this season, both school records. Boyd also rushed for 514 yards and scored 10 rushing touchdowns.

Boyd holds 39 Clemson records.
