The 13-time Pro Bowler told his team, “this is my last ride.”  The Ravens will host the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in the AFC Wild Card game.

Lewis was placed on the injured reserve-designated to return list on Oct. 14 after tearing his right triceps.  The 37-year-old linebacker returned to practice on Dec. 5 and the team added him to the roster in order for him to be eligible for the playoffs.

“Everything that starts has a end, it’s just life,” said Lewis on Wednesday.  “For me, today, I told my team that this would be my last ride.”

Lewis was a part of the franchise’s first Super Bowl title in 2000 in which he led a Baltimore defense that set an NFL record for fewest points allowed in a 16-game season.
