As crazy as it sounds, Smart Politics, a project by the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, did just that.

Breaking it down, Palin was paid $3 million over that span, which comes out to $15.85 for each of the 189,000 words the former Alaska governor spoke on about 150 various FOX broadcasts.

The majority of Palin’s appearances were on Sean Hannity’s show and Greta Van Susteren’s On the Record program.

Palin, who was the running mate of 2008 Republican presidential nominee Sen. John McCain, mentioned President Obama by name 786 times.

Last week, it was announced that Fox News and Palin had parted ways.
