(LEWISTON, ID) — More than 500 gun rights advocates rallied in in Lewiston Saturday. The event was part of a nationwide series of rallies held Saturday in response to gun-control measures being proposed in Congress. Organizers say the rally drew support from people with a wide variety of backgrounds all for the common goal of standing up for the Second Amendment. An estimated 1,000 people rallied for gun rights in Idaho Falls earlier this month, while another 500 held a similar rally in Rexburg in January.
