Harvard Defeats Princeton, 69-57 To Win Second Straight
Published at(BOSTON) — Sophomores forward Steve Moundou-Missi and center Kenyatta Smith scored 14 points each as Harvard (15-7) defeated Princeton (12-9), 69-57 on Saturday night.
Junior guard Laurent Rivard added 12 points, while freshman guard Siyani Chambers contributed 11 and sophomore forward Wesley Saunders poured in 10 as the Ivy League-leading Crimson improve to 7-1 in the division.
Harvard trailed 26-24 in the first half, but went on an 8-2 run to take the lead for good going into half-time.
With the win, senior guard Christian Webster becomes the all-time winningest player in Harvard men’s basketball history.
