Heat Win 10th Straight Behind LeBron’s Triple-Double
Published at(PHILADELPHIA) — LeBron James posted his 35th career triple-double to lead the Miami Heat to a 114-90 romping of the Philadelphia 76ers, their 10th straight victory.
James had 16 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds for the Heat (39-14), who were also led by Dwayne Wade’s 33-point effort.
“It was a professional win,” Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. “LeBron started it with his unselfishness, finding the open guy, making it contagious. Then it was an efficient shooting night.”
All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday led the 76ers (22-31) with 21 points, while Nick Young added 19.
The Heat now has a 5 1/2 game cushion for the top-seed in the Eastern Conference.
