LDS Church to Add 58 New Missions
Published at(SALT LAKE CITY, UT) — The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints has announced the creation of 58 New missions around the world. In response to the October 2012 annoucement by President Thomas S. Monson that lowered the age requirement for missionary service to 18-years of age, thousands of young new missionaries have answered the call. This annoucement, coupled with the re-structuring of existing missions brings the total of working missions world-wide to 405. No new countries have been opened to the missionary work at this time.
