The 22-year-old Palmieri broke a 10-game no goal streak and now leads the team with seven for the season.

The Ducks (14-3-1, 29pts) have a seven point lead over Los Angeles and Dallas for first in the Pacific Division.

Goalie Viktor Fasth rebounded from his first ever defeat in the NHL by recording 20 saves in the victory.

Nashville goalie Pekke Rinne allowed four goals or more for the third straight game. He was replaced in the third period by Chris Mason.

Ryan Getzlaf and Corey Perry each had three assists in the win.
