Wyo. Approves Hunting With Silencers
Published at(CHEYENNE, WY) — Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead has signed a bill into law that will allow hunters to use silencers on their firearms. The measure will go into effect in July. The move comes in response to lobbying from the American Silencer Association, which has been working in several states to allow the use if silencers for hunting. Still, the Wyoming Game Warden’s Association opposed the bill, saying it would make it tougher to spot poachers and gives hunters an unfair advantage anyway.
