(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – A scam from callers claiming to be representatives from DISH Network is targeting the Intermountain West. The scammers claim to offer special promotions and upgrades, asking customers to pay with either a credit card or with a payment through Western Union. DISH officials say they don’t call customers asking for personal information, or for information related to their DISH accounts. Anyone who receives a call should hang up and contact DISH directly at 800-333-DISH (3474).
