Gas Prices Continue to Inch Lower

Jupiterimages/Thinkstock(WASHINGTON) — Across the country, the federal government says gas prices are still dropping.

The average price for regular unleaded gas has dropped two cents in the past week to $3.68 a gallon, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.

Gas remains over $4 a gallon in California, the only state where drivers are paying that much. The average price is now at $4.07 statewide in California, despite falling five cents in the past week.
