Gender Discrimination Lawsuit Filed Against PMC

(POCATELLO, ID) – A former nurse has filed a lawsuit against Portneuf Medical Center alleging that her civil rights were violated. The lawsuit names Russell Fagnant, a nurse at the hospital, as the person primarily responsible for the harassment. The plaintiff, Jeanne Isom of Blackfoot, claims that Fagnant repeatedly made inappropriate comments of a sexual nature, and touched her inappropriately. Isom was also allegedly harassed because of her religious convictions. Hospital officials declined to comment on the lawsuit, saying it was a personnel issue.
