Geneticist Imagines What the Royal Baby Will Look Like

Niall Carson – WPA Pool / Getty Image(JOHANNESBURG) — The world is anxiously awaiting the birth of Prince William and Kate Middleton’s first child, but one South African geneticist can’t wait until the July due date to see what that baby will look like.
Suretha Erasmus created a series of drawings illustrating what she believe the pairs unborn child could look like as a toddler and teenager, with a boy and a girl version of each.
Erasmus is a private practice genetic counselor at her company CG Network Pty Ltd, and she expects the future monarch of England to have William’s blue eyes and Middleton’s darker hair.

Based on the images, Erasmus thinks a girl would favor Kate Middleton in looks, including inheriting her defined eyebrows and full lashes.
If the child is a boy, he will look more like his father, sharing his jaw line and mouth.
A resemblance to the beloved Princess Diana, Prince William’s mother, is also projected.
