Hailey Woman Dies at Sun Valley Resort

(KETCHUM, ID) – A Hailey woman was killed last week while skiing at the Sun Valley Resort. 38-year-old Melanie Kendall was found unconscious on Bald Mountain at around 4 p.m. Wednesday after she apparently hit a tree. Emergency officials attempted to revive Kendall, but were unsuccessful. Kendall was wearing a helmet at the time, and later died at St. Luke’s Wood River Medical Center.
