(IDAHO FALLS, ID) – The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a major spike in the number of home burglaries over the past month.  At least 14 burglaries have occurred in Bonneville County since February 1, compared to only three during the same period last year. Most of the break-ins have happened in rural areas outside the Idaho Falls city limits. Officers are warning residents to keep their doors locked and their eyes peeled. Those with any information about the incidents can call detectives at 529-1200.
