Interfaith Panel Discusses Anti-Discrimination Ordinance
Published at(POCATELLO, ID) — More than 100 people gathered for a panel discussion in Pocatello Wednesday night to consider adopting an anti-discrimination ordinance. Organizers, which included the Portneuf Valley Interfaith Fellowship, the NAACP, and 2Great4Hate, say it promotes fairness and tolerance, benefiting everyone in Pocatello, not just gay, lesbian, and transgendered people. The city council is expected to hold hearings on the ordinance in the near future.
