ISU Mascot Wins National Championship

(POCATELLO, ID) — Idaho State University ‘s mascot is now a national champion. Benny the Bengal took home a national title this past weekend at the U.S. College Mascot Championship Division in Anaheim , Calif. Benny swept the competition with a two-minute movie trivia skit, scoring in the 90th percentile each time he performed. Conference rivals Northern Arizona, Portland State , and Weber State were also at the competition. Benny says he pulled it all off with a few cat naps and lots of training.
